Septic Tanks: ½ pint per month for home systems and ½ pint per week for every 12 users for institutional systems. Tile Fields: Treat tanks first, if standing water and odor is present, heavily and directly with 1 gallon a week min. Until solids level is reduced. Also add 2 gallons through distribution box or effluent line directly into field. May require treatment for accumulation of waste. Lift Stations: Directly treat as well fills, adding at least 3 to 5 gallons per million gallons flow-through capacity FTC. Maintain with 1 gallon per week. Digester Pumps: To clean pump after pumping sludge. Feed 1 pint product, diluted 1:80 with water, through vacuum side. Leave in pump and lines 12 to 24 hours. Order Control of Digested Sludge: Dilute product 1:5 with water. Spray fine mist over newly drained sludge until covered. If needed, repeat within 24 hours. Can be injected as sludge is pumped through vacuum side of pump. Oxidation Lagoons: Main with 1 to 2 gallons per million gallons flow. Dilution factors depends on feeding equipment types. Until nuisance odors are gone, daily treatment is generally required. As preventive maintenance, treat weekly or monthly. (Daily treatment is desirable.)
